Global Director of Client Relationships & Business Development

Marie has over 20 years of experience in the global investment banking and securities industry. Prior to joining Observatory Group, Marie was Head of Research for the Americas at High Frequency Economics, an independent, macro-economic, research firm focusing on the G7 nations and China. She has extensive experience in research, sales, and trading, both domestically and internationally. She worked for several US investment banks: Morgan Stanley, Drexel Burnham Lambert, Lehman Brothers, and Smith Barney.

At Smith Barney, she was responsible for developing and managing their US international equities division. In addition, Marie has worked for several European-based investment firms focusing on developing and managing their US operations. She was Managing Director & Head of US Office for Hagstromer & Qviberg and executive director for Banca IMI/San Paolo Securities. Marie is fluent in Serbo-Croatian and Albanian, an avid runner, and the mother of a boy and a girl.
